A Warm Review By A Hot Reviewer

Sacred Ground & Holy Water by Lyn Fuchs is not your usual narrative travel book, and if you should read just one book of travel essays in your life, this is the one.

Lyn takes you on a wild adventure around the world: he’s been there, he’s done it, he’s got the t-shirt, and obviously he’s not afraid to talk about it. The book is straightforward, open, raw, edgy, hilarious, sexy and smart. And it’s definitely not a book for the faint of heart.

Sacred Ground & Holy Water is a thrilling read for the open-minded reader willing to explore the world beyond tourist resorts and sights. Every chapter presents a piece of this beautiful Earth just the way it is, with the good, less good and shocking.

I must say I absolutely love the language of the book. It’s rich, vivid, lush, colorful and one-of-a-kind. Lyn has a unique gift to share the emotions and make you live them as you read his words. His writing is honest, fluff-free and candid, full of apt irony and sharp-wittedness.

There’s just one thing to say: Bravo, Lyndiana Jones! And please, write on.

Barbara Conelli writes with art and passion about the good life in Italy. She is the author of the books Chique Secrets of Dolce Vita and Chique Secrets of Dolce Amore.
