No Jews Here

Just spent a long weekend among the Tuxtla Mountains of Mexico. In the jungles where Mel Gibson filmed Apocalypto's frenetic chase, I enjoyed a motionless tranquility. Experienced the peace we so often seek but seldom find.

On the rippling surface of Lake Catemaco, I saw egrets and ducks nesting thick as flies on waterbound trees. My second book Fresh Wind & Strange Fire will traverse this land of Olmecs and sorcerers.

I think that Catemaco is a beautiful place, I have gone sometimes and I have had fun a lot. It's very exciting to tour the lake and visit the jungle. I hope you have enjoyed your visit to Catemaco.
