Dirty Crowded Nirvana

This year began with saying goodbye to the faces and places of India. Here are some hungry-but-smiling children in front of a temple, plus a mural of the river Ganges descending through realms of supernaturals, humans and animals, all sculpted out of stone in the village of Mahabalipuram.

I will never forget the sari-wearing, motorcycle-driving Tamil people. These friends have given me an amazing story for my first book Sacred Ground & Holy Water.

Thus, I dedicate this Sacred Ground Travel Magazine to global understanding, global friends and global spirituality ... plus global warming with global hotties. Welcome to a site that's free from political correctness but full of heart, guts and reality.

  1. Hi Lyn, saludos to you and your iguana. Came to look at your blog via LinkedIn and the bloggie friendships offered. I can't say I enjoyed your blog - IT DELIGHTED ME!

It's rare to have someone use language as assured, not put one foot wrong write with those little smile-makers, and make your mouth water with the audacity of it all.

I am an old (operative word) traveller myself (now live in Lima, Peru) but never took the time or created the opportunitiy to chronicle my time 'on the road'. Can't tell you how jealous I am (in the nicest possible way!).

As a passionate photographer myself I also appreciate your wonderful pix.

In this world of 'You show me yours and I'll show you mine' I offer you two blogs to visit:

    (1) My Peru blog which keeps friends up-to-date regarding my new life in a country where Christmas falls into high summer:

    http://rosemaryboehm.blogspot.com/

    (2) My book blog regarding my novel COMING UP FOR AIR which has been published in January of this year.

    http://www.coming-up-for-air.com

I now go and look for a place where I can 'follow' you or whatever one does in bloggielandia. I am still relatively dense in this area.
